You are invited to participate in the 10th international and interdisciplinary Art in Motion symposium in Monheim on May 28th & 29th, 2027.

By presenting your own work in poster form, you will be able to exchange ideas with guests from all over the world, enjoy live musical performances, attend workshops, and otherwise explore aspects of the BODY OF KNOWLEDGE in the performing arts and sports.

The poster session will take place on Saturday, May 29, 2027. All abstracts will be peer-reviewed. Accepted abstracts will be published in the abstract book in both English and German (in printed form). PDFs of posters and handouts will be made available to attendees via the AiM27 website.

NEW IN 2027: As a poster presenter, you will be able to offer provide a live demonstration, show videos, and otherwise engage with other attendees through activities surrounding the poster session. A PDF of your poster and any accompanying handouts will be made available for all attendees via the AiM27 website.

Do you have something you would like to present? This could be your current research or project that is related to the main theme of this year’s meeting – BODY OF KNOWLEDGE – and/or innovative ideas regarding music, sports, neuroscience, technology, medicine or psychology. Posters can be used to report the results of empirical studies, to discuss methodological issues, or to show the practical application of your research.

Early-career academics are particularly encouraged to submit their work. For those just starting to do research, the poster session may serve to introduce their first scientific work to an audience, to compare their research to international standards, to network with the local and global scientific communities, and to meet luminaries in multiple fields of interest.

If you are interested in sharing your work with others and participating in the poster session, please submit your abstract by Monday, December 7, 2026. After peer-review, notice of acceptance will be sent to you by January 15, 2027.You may download a template for guidance here. You may submit your poster abstract in either English or German for review. If accepted, you will need versions of your final text in both languages.

We look forward to your abstract submission as well as to answering your questions: poster@artinmotion2027.com
